Used book drive for our 2nd annual Reading Tailgate!

Our second annual Reading Tailgate is coming up on Tuesday, October 30th. This event was such a HUGE success last year and we can’t wait to do it again this fall!

One of the best parts of the Reading Tailgate is that we give away hundreds of great gently used books to our kids and their families–and to do this, we need your help!

Here’s more information from our family engagement specialist, Ms. Kipling:

Chase Street Elementary School Used Book Drive

Cleaning out your bookshelves? We can help! Please bring your used books to Chase Street Elementary School. We are hosting a book drive in order to expand our library for an upcoming family book swap. We are collecting books for both children and adults, so we’d love to have any titles that you no longer need. Give your old books new life by sharing them with others!

Books can be dropped off in the Chase Street Elementary main office between the hours of 7:10 AM and 6:00 PM. Thank you for supporting your neighborhood school!

*We are also accepting magazines; these often come in handy for class projects!
